maybe you should make your comments more clear, saying “they came with a l6 out of the factory” means that they came only with an l6, maybe you should finish that comment with “… but they also came with a few different variations of V8s”

P.S. I would put money on that car having a BOV, it sounds exactly like my mates car (a turbo 4.0 with a big external venting BOV)
It even says at the start of this vid that its a 4L SOHC motor. That means its a Falcon motor. How many Supras have 4Ls?

all these “know it all’s” posting these silly comments..this guy did an excellent job..everything went toghether like it should..bodywork..wheels..stance and all..nice engine too..if u can be different and just as good if not better than other stangs..then u did it man..good job to the max..i don’t think any other v8 resto is as special cuz its been done over n over..this is gonna start a new trend n ur car is not to be forgotten…

You don’t know much about the engine he used? They’re very well known in Australia. Is no classic Mustang restoration is really good unless you use the same 289, stroked 302 or big block engines everyone else uses in their cars? I owned a ‘69 sportsroof just a few years ago and I was all for going with a turbo 6 transplant over another V8. Some people like to be creative with turbos.
…..From what that car was before the build, to what it is now….Good job. It coulda been soooo much better. Its ruined in my opinion. You just dont put that junk in a Mustang. Good job on the build. Bad job on the path you took that car.

I love the sound of the turbo bark, but running without a blow off valve is bad for the turbo :-/
